How to clean the milk system
Milk residue is a breeding ground for bacteria and clogs the system. Clean at least once a week, or as soon as the machine asks for it.
- Mix the cleaner with lukewarm water in the milk jug or milk container. The ratio is stated on the packaging.
- Connect the milk system as if you were using milk, and place a container under the milk spout.
- Start the Clean milk system programme (often 'Clean' or via the Maintenance menu).
- Rinse the jug or container and let the system rinse once more with fresh water.
Caffinity tip: Briefly flush the milk system with water after every milk drink if your machine does not do this itself. This stops milk from drying on.
