How to descale your De'Longhi

Descale as soon as the display asks for it. The programme takes 25 to 45 minutes, depending on your model.

  1. In the menu, choose Descale, or hold down the button stated in your manual.
  2. Remove the water filter from the tank and empty the drip tray.
  3. Pour the descaler into the empty water tank up to level A (mark on the inside, which is 100 ml: for the Mini, one small bottle) and top up with water to level B (1 litre).
  4. Place a container of at least 1,5 litres under the hot water spout and the coffee spout.
  5. Start the programme and let it run to the end.
  6. Rinse the water tank, fill it to MAX with fresh water and let the machine rinse as the display asks.

Caffinity tip: If there are no A and B marks in your water tank, use the quantities from your machine's manual.
