How to maintain your dishwasher

Grease and limescale in the dishwasher cause odours and less clean dishes. Do this every 1 to 2 months.

Empty the dishwasher completely and first clean the filter at the bottom.
Put the cleaner in the machine as shown on the packaging (the bottle or dose usually goes in the cutlery basket or on the bottom).
Choose the hottest programme, or the programme stated on the packaging.
When the cycle has finished, leave the door open for a while to dry.

Caffinity tip: Do not add any dishes: the cleaner works best in an empty machine.

Every machine is slightly different. If in doubt, follow the display or your machine's manual.
